Waiting Poem by Matthew Holloway

Waiting

Waiting
~
We are all waiting on this
that day when things fall right
into place, time and situation
when the jigsaw pieces fit
when one hand does not steal
what sits in the other
and those worries subside
into nothingness
what such a day would be
when letters are mere correspondence
from friends and family alike
talking about life and holidays
it would, it will, could be joyous
when it finally arrives
now long overdue
still we wait on this, day
when all things fall
right

A lovely poem, Matthew. (I have one with the same title) I hope the day comes and the wait was worth it
