Waiting Poem by Khairul Ahsan

Waiting

Rating: 4.8

I have since been waiting
Alone, here,
Hoping and believing,
That someone will
Discover me,
Visit me,
Befriend me.

I have had chats enough,
With birds,
Butterflies,
Fallen leaves and
Fleeting clouds.
I need a human
To love me now.

Will you?

Lovely lines that are loaded with the priority of humanity even in the midst of the niceness of nature. Well done my friend!

Love, the greatest treasure and yet the most evasive. A lonely life without it. This poem is outstanding in its simplicity that so well conveys the message. Feelings are sentimentally and clearly projected, so touching! .

A very earnest plea..... the craving of every human being! Though it sounds personal, it has a universal appeal! Neatly expressed with economy of words!
