Waiting Poem by Rik Bertrand

Waiting

Experienced and yet never challenged,
Demanding yet never demanded in life.
Powerful in all that there is in this world,
Yet never tempted to flex the powers to be.

Crafted in the art of passion and pure love,
Yet no one to test what is in the soul.
The pretense of a heart is not felt or seen,
As it sit waiting for that one that will feel the warmth.

Mastered and full of true emotion, waiting,
Life can be so cruel to those true of heart.
Time will create the ultimate release of …..
And feelings will be felt in dramatic fashion

Experienced and yet never challenged,
I set alone and wait what is to come.
I know my time is near and I wait patiently,
For the love that I so dearly need.

REB (AUGUST 2012) and I shall wait for what is to come….
