Waiting Poem by Janine Alyssa Navarro

Waiting

Sitting, sitting
waiting as he did
watch-glancing
and a mind flying.
Seasons passed
leaves turned brown
and new winds flew,
still nobody came.
There was no her.

Waiting, waiting
sitting as he did
finally a shadow arrived.
It asked of him
of only one thing:
waiting for him to leave.
There was no her.
