How can you expect me to just go on avoiding you

When you were the thought that always filled my head

How do you expect me to simply walk away

When you were the one who made me feel again



How do you move on from love you thought would be eternal

But I will keep my promise to leave if you wish it so

Though my mind will always be filled with thoughts of us

And my heart will always hold a place for you



But then again if we were destined to be together

Then one day you will return to me

Because if you love something you know you have to set it free

And if it returns then you know your love was meant to be



As I sit here waiting to see if you return

I remember the days we've shared together

And how you were my everything

It is these thoughts that are sustaining me



Until we meet again......my one true love
