Voices Poem by Leah Michele

Voices

Rating: 5.0

The voices are saying things,
Things I don't want to hear.
Buried realities,
Drowned by fantasies and my insanities.

But who gets to decide fantasy from reality?
I made the choice long ago;
To keep things as they are,
To not reward my curiosity

But wait,
Things have change!
This was not my doing.
I'm so lost now...

Is this what I really wanted?
Maybe at some point,
But now... I don't
Not at all

Now the voices taunt me
Bringing up questions
Questions that must remain unasked
Atleast for now

Will there ever be a right time though?
