Voiceless Voids Poem by Nalini Jyotsana Chaturvedi

Voiceless Voids

Rating: 5.0

Voiceless voids
In my heart
Are now like
Windows
Giving glimpses
Of my past

Colourful kaleidoscope
Pictures are clear
Where there were holes
Happiness seeped out
From where

those letters I wrote
Embroidered kerchiefs
With love
Thought strong was the hold
Threads and letters won't tear

All my plans
Even in other land
Revolved around you
For you. Were soul's friend

You left me midstream
I'll still reach across
No life jackets needed
A priceless boat
I have got

What happens next
As I reach the other shore
I care not much for
For I have no control

I am here now
That's all I care
What lies in future
Won't know until
I reach there
