Visionary Dutch Toiled Prevented Floods In Jakarta

Indonesian administrations past present have failed to prevent
floods the Dutch built dams; neglected are no longer sufficient!
to hold back rising surging flood waters, urban planning experts

proclaim Jakarta's drainage system 'is still the same as it was
in the Dutch colonial era'; should be rebuilt floods are intensified
by failure to manage sustain rivers as water reservoirs governor

dredge the rivers deeper clean out thrown in peasant pollution
let clean rivers breathe! healthy vibrant! system flood function!
first Banten heavy rains inundated at least four regencies rains

caused major rivers the Ciujung, Cidurian, Cilember and Ciliman
to overflow submerging 33 districts in Lebak, Pandeglang, Serang
and Tangerang; in Depok; Laya River embankments collapsed due

to strong currents from headwaters in Bogor; remember the Dutch
were widening rivers, putting in flood channels before WWII!
independent Indonesia stopped project filled rivers with garbage?

Very thoughtful for you to bring this to the fore Terry and if anyone could stop the floods it would have to be the Dutch, lets hope a politician from Jakarta reads this, regards
