Virtual White Teeth

The beauty of
and fashion for tan
was driven by teeth
that look less yellow on brown
than they do on white.

Now teeth are virtual white,
and that looks best on white,
and you laugh when you see it on brown.

Laughter has no truck with beauty:
to be beautiful and 'in',
you have to have white skin.
