Virgin This Poem by Sandra Bartonjo

Virgin This

Rating: 5.0

I'm capsizing through this sinful existence
Lonliness overcomes any hope, i'm living in silence
He was in me and i was partially unaware
No kisses between us, all i could do was lay there
A reminder of a past, yet, a good one this time
Retelling the story was exhausting i pretended i was fine
Staring into the sunlight, i fakely smile

Experience the best teacher, experience a constant reminder
I'm getting over that moment, beginning to feel kinder
My frustration is hindered
I never thought i'd be okay, let alone capable of seeing again
That feeling creeps in me
It sticks like a permanent stain

Another brand on my life, slowly blending in to make me
Injustice about this invasion, the need to be.
