Violin Poem by Andrés Perdomo

Violin

My violin cries,
when it sees no smiles,
no happy kids, no mo' rhymes,
nothing but fights,
when this world whirls,
it can't see what it loves,
great songs and pure words,
girls, boys, pops, moms,
families working together for achieving all their goals,
the sun like gold,
dark sky that holds
a white moon, beside a pearl,
this world.
