Violence And Valentines Poem by Justin Gildow

Violence And Valentines

Violence and valentines run rampant these days
With punches, kicks, and poisoned words
As well as sentimental and passionate kisses

Singles, couples, and love triangles
Violence is coming at them from every angle
Valentines are going to act as bandages
and band-aids
Violence and valentines are going hand in hand
these days

Everybody knows something they shouldn't
Yet others would only dream of doing things that
many others wouldn't
Eyes seem to radiate the truth
Emotions seem to get impatient

Violence and valentines are all the rage
Happening day after day
Inside or outside
Nothing's safe these days
No matter what some might say
