Victory At Gethsemane Poem by Moses Rotimi

Victory At Gethsemane

At the garden of Gethsemane,
Jesus did prevailed with prayer,
There restored He the soul of man,
Fulfiling God's greatest desire.

God's own divine ultimate plan,
To restore and bring man nearer,
Stoping it; Devil thought he can,
But Christ became man's messiah.

For though He prayed that the cup be lifted,
The fear of much pain and the grief of shame,
And that night Christ was almost defeated,
But yielding His will to God he proclaim,
Salvation to men was elevated,
At Gethsemane victory was affirm.
