Victims And More (Senryu) Poem by Sandra Martyres

Victims And More (Senryu)

Rating: 5.0

He is a victim
Of pure greed - he ate his way
To the cemetry

The ambulance stopped
To carry away victims
Of failed traffic lights

The baby did scream
perhaps he had a bad dream
Or was he hungry?

It was a fun day but why did he run away in the heated fray? These are indeed victims. They are victims of the carelessness of others who didn't pay attention, or just didn't seem to care. Every victim either of one's own choosing or by an accident or on purpose is a tragedy that could have been avoided. Each one of these are perfect with a message. A 10+++++ and thank you for sharing. Love & hugs, Barbara
