Vicious Cycle Poem by LeeAnn TImbrook

Vicious Cycle

My heart’s pounding,
Stomach aching.
Just as I calm,
The bell rings,
I have to go to my next class.
Walk through the halls.

My heart’s pounding,
Stomach aching.
The vicious cycle starts again.

I hope that I will calm a little sooner each time,
That my pain will slowly fade away.

But when the bell rings,
My heart pounds,
Stomach aches,
And the vicious cycle starts again
