Vibrant Prince Poem by andrue finley

Vibrant Prince

Like the tides of the ocean, you crash upon the beaches of my dreams

Your charisma  steals the words out my mouth.
Your presence only kills me.

But call me a fool wishing upon a fools death.

A vibrate prince like yourself only deserves the best.

No fibbers, no dagger wielding cheaters, no non believers

Yes a vibrant prince would need a bolt of laughter and life

Someone brave

Someone nice

Someone not afraid to let there soul soar like a bird.

Someone who isn't afraid to say those three little words

I wish it could be me
I can wish for many things
But if only one wish is there to choose

I would always choose you.

That's how I feel
How I feel towards you

But a distance only cripples those dreams
A sad reality is all that I see

Too far for either to tighten such a gap
Too much for me to just go back

Before the day I saw the vibrant prince who lived and laughed

Loves a dangerous game
I knew that from the start
But love is what continues to beat

A lonely fools heart
