Via Evolution Poem by Joseph Narusiewicz

Via Evolution

Cisterns of Assyrian winds
Sub space the endorphins revel
Sorrow like every haunting war
Hidden in wards without limbs
Brain damage, political will
Let the drones fight the next war
Water your exotic imagination
No armies with special missions
Causes skewed, face-lifts gone wild
Run for islands of Ithaca
The monsters trounce the land
Warlocks of industry
Genetically engineered spiders
Webs of crossed species
Let’s live forever they say
You want science fiction your in it
The Frankenstein haven
Some hail the new frontier
The man gods create hell
Science, technology without ethics
Clones with cyber fathers
Who relegates above these gods?
These lost men of via evolution
