Vesper Time Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

Vesper Time

the bell struck
vesper time
along
the winding streets
of strait and cobbled
wealth:
the waters glide
glide as the mists
stealthy thieves
amidst the old
old houses tonight
whilst
the sun behind the old
mountains fades
and then beyond
another thing
the sea.
