Versailles - Translation Poem by Abhaya Sharma

Versailles - Translation

Eleven miles far from Paris -
In deep forestry quite enchanting
The pride of Versailles stood alike,
Filled to brim with the feats of life
Fortunes glory and sublime
Blessed on path with a great artistry
The fascinating domes & pinnacles on earth
Those towering monuments with no dearth
Surrounded with the magnificence aloud
The green dense gardens were all around
sprinkled here-there and everywhere
The blue tinged water of lakes abound
The sonorous beautiful musical sound
came from scattered waterfalls down
The cool breeze pleasant and fragrant too
Took away worries of  all its kind
The breezy Versailles welcomes mind -
