Venemous Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Venemous

Venomous

Unstable
I, feel being a willow, a hay, a cork, a dandelion

And…

Every word, wind and wave takes me for a ride
Inspired.

Even the viper, in a poem, with sleaziness that
Vibrates.

So…

Today?

Am I a venomous snake with large hinged fangs?
Do I bite and tear the flesh of someone’s souls?
Am I the most spiteful, treacherous person?
Or,
Am I the prey…for ‘all the above’?
(Torn by long pointed tooth; fang)
