Vast Difference Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Vast Difference

Rating: 5.0

“There is vast difference” legend says
For bowing down the head in presence of all
The wicked person bows down
When his sins have become known

Noble person does it for common good
He will keep cordial relation in neighborhood
Ask for apology if something is done wrong
His heart is as pure as water and shall offer peaceful song

Knowledgeable man will never argue
He will give full weight to facts and view
Offer no illogical reasons for unknown fact
He will reveal it in his personal act

The great person is always felicitated
His gesture of bowing down is well appreciated
As river calms down with abundance in water
The trees with load of fruits too bend more

The greatness lies in recognition
It also shines in building good relation
It takes years to build good name
Otherwise what is there to claim?
