THE VALUE OF EDUCATION
Her ululations reverberated high and loud,
Her sizeable figure seemed to jostle against the powerful wind,
Her jumps only raisin more dust from the barren plain in front of her house.
Her traditional doek had fallen down to the ground,
Her unruly hair spiked up,
Her knee-length dress in rainbow colors seemed to go up with the air,
Revealing much more than intended

"Come on, come all witness my child has done it,
The potswill be filled to the brim with meat and traditional beer will spill over the jugs".

The air rose full of surprise,
Joy reflected on the faces of the group of women who by now were dancing with her.
That was the taste of success,
Success was the reason for all this celebration,
Celebration as a result for success in education,
Education the key to future happiness,
Happiness which parents strive to achieve when they send children to school.
It can be said more often enough, education is the key,
Lack of education only adds to pressure within families,
Lack of education is extremely detrimental to the family unit.
Scaling down and focusing on what is important,
The easiest way to start coping with need for success.
No ever road to success has ever been smooth,
Let us all value education and let it be accessible to everyone.
