Valentine's Card Poem by Janice Windle

Valentine's Card

Rating: 4.7

Why do lovers sigh
Under the curved moon's eye?
Perhaps a pink heart's best
Kept in a lover's chest?
I know I must sound cynical
But Love and I are quite inimical.
No, maybe not quite true,
For one I love - it's you!

This is rather sweet - and a refreshing change from the 'hallmark' variety. love, Allie ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

I didn't think it was really bad. In fact, its quite good actually. Its short and it says I love you. I can't think of what else is required. GW62

Too good for a valentine card. Here's one for the day after Valentine's: Rose are red, violets are blue, But even a bunch of daffs would do! F
