Valentine Poem by Jeannette Heywood

Valentine

Rating: 5.0

The sound of the lock turned by your key
Starts a butterfly dance deep within me.

I think of you often throughout my day.
Sensual moments subconsciously re-play.

Your touch though gentle on my skin leaves a mark.
Flirtatious promises made in the dark.

Sensations electric as our bodies entwine
Flow as a current through my nerves like a vine.

The colours you bring me are never shades of grey.
But vibrant and vivid, on darkness they prey.

Wow! What a wonderful poem you've posted on the Valentine's Day! Simply superb! The first and the last couplets are really matchless! Loved the poem.10/10 from me.
