Balsamic Eyes
That would trick Soul into Mind
Unreality into Reality
Imagination into Memory

Alert, upright, bemused
Utterly lovable grin
Your edible irony

Fighter unafraid of blood
To walk a hundred miles of corridors
Of death, birth and battle

Lover too vulnerable
For less than a hundred thousand miles of patience
The deep dark steady metronome
Of What Calls You
