Utterly Strangers Poem by Mon Fur

Utterly Strangers

Sweet smiles and
gentle laughs
joking around
if only it had last

But now today
We just walk away
like utter strangers
with a familiar face

I sit there waiting through
rain and shine
in the hopes that one day
you will be mine
