Kneeling, beaten and burned up from top till toe..
Bleeding, broken and given all on this unbeatable foe..
Bruised, confused and lost the reason were we are fighting for..
Laying down, tired and I can't take anymore..

Standing tall, victorious and a lions heart beats in my chest..
Yelling, boasting and dearing the rest..
Looking, wondering and realising the faces that are in tears around me..
Kneeling, feeling and noticing the absence of a heartbeat, could it really be...

To the people that use violence when words fall short..
To the people that use aggression as a last resort..
To the people who act before thinking..
To the people who act this way because of stupidity or to much drinking..
