Used To Be
We used to be friends
and said we would
be there for each other
til the end
no matter what through
the good and bad
We used to be friends
til you found that girl
and pushed me away
no matter how hard I tried
to stay by your side
We used to be friends
til you said you wanted her
and never wanted to hear
or see me again
you loved her
only a month or so
of knowing her
after almost a year were together
everything we went through
I see how much you don't even care
We used to be friends
til you pushed me away
and now you find
she's in love with another guy
so now I'm okay
and you want me back as a friend
We used to be friends
til you pushed me away
but after the struggle
I went through, by myself
and all the long and lonely nights
I think I woke up
and finally realized
I don't need you anymore
and glad 'we used to be friends'
