It's Friday evening and the weekend
Is here at last for us to enjoy
We've two whole days together
What shall we do in the time
Well, there's the washing, the ironing
The shopping and the gardening
In fact numerous chores to be done
But isn't it wonderful how
In spite of all this, we manage to find
Time for just us two
