Urban Tale Poem by Sinclair Azubuike Farrell

Urban Tale

A hard knock life
So brutally gritty
Full of nothing
But pain & strife
An explicit urban tale
Uncensored rawness
Of urbanised areas
Streets of woes
Concrete jungles
Housing estates
As dirty as cages
With rats climbing over each other
For space

Stories of desperate hardship
Which, you couldn't imagine
Unless you lived it

Swamped by gardens of black roses
And killing fields of defeated minds
Gone astray
Lost in the gutter
Of urban decay.
