Urban Dwellers Poem by Simon Anton Nino Diego Baena

Urban Dwellers

Walk among the mindless ostrich
in the asphalt fields and concrete steel
poison breeze, oily weeds

cuddle under the sheets
of hospital beds,
as they share the love
and their empty pockets.

live among
the dirt, poor shadows
in the slum,
they pray to god
only to ask
for crumbs!
