Upper West Side Manhattan The Atlas Girl Leans On Me Poem by Nicolas GRENIER

Upper West Side Manhattan The Atlas Girl Leans On Me

In the forest of skycrapers
Your bright white dress

A broken wing
A blackberry juice
The archangel Gabriel

Under a cherry blossom tree
You lie down on the grass

On the Euphrates river
A gazelle

In a laurel wreath
Your sleeping sister's face
Your eyes like a drop of water in the cloudy sky

Tomorrow at daybreak

(Music of Takuya Minakawa)
