Up And Down A Steep Road Poem by Leaking Pen

Up And Down A Steep Road

Up and down a steep road slowly I go
Like the clock's pendulum swinging to and fro
Living on my nerves in these moments raw
My heart sinks as the north winds against me blow
Drops of tears and many fears out of me flow.
Then She comes down the hill with smiles as pure as snow
Looking at me with eyes so sweet and low
As if the ground begging her steps to slow
For such a rare beauty the earth never saw
She is glowing in this time of winter and woe
And she made me forgot what happened down below
Up to her I went saying a confident hello!
As if nothing happened to me few minutes ago…
Well friends! This is teenage love I suppose you know!
