Unwanted Deception Poem by Exwell Nhubyani

Unwanted Deception

Behind Your Truth Hides The Face
Of Deceit, The Stories You Compose
Are Enough To Persuade You Into
Thinking That You Speak Truth In Your
Words

You Promised Me Love Then You Broke
Your Promise And Changed Me Into A
Cynical Man, You Made It Uneasy For Me
To Explore New Love
You Added I Was Not Good Enough
And That I Could Forgive

Behind All Your Lies, The Truth Came
When You Said That Our Love Story Had
Come To Its Conclusion
Maybe Someday You'll Understand
How Deeply I Was Hurt By Your
Words

Your Word Like Thorns As Big
As a Uncut Brunch
Your Words Pierced Straight
Through My Heart
Making Any Love Emotion
Sensless
Someday You'll Meet The One Who
Will Give You A Love Better Than
Mine, As Obviously I Couldn't
Offer You What You Deserved
