Untouchable; Unbreakable Poem by Stella Andrews

Untouchable; Unbreakable

i turn away from the bright lights before me
so long i have been in the dark.
its hard to bring myself to look,
to hope, dream, to love..

where there once were fireworks,
sparkles and shimmering lights
theres now a thick, cold iron case.
protecting me from bullets and pain.

untouchable; unbreakable.
