Untitled 8 Poem by Jeremy M. Dreher

Untitled 8

Rating: 5.0

A long period of internal hate
A destiny revolting fate
Reminding me of evil
Darkness beyond dark
A shark eating a shark
A rainbow hiding in the desert
A flower making towers cower
We must slowly win and slowly run
The way is purposeful, not for fun
Struggling through
Doing as we do
Why do we care?
Why should we?
The answer is hiding
Only the abominations shall know
The answer we continue to let go
Face me like a man
Admit to what has, will, is, and must be done
