Untitled Poem by Harlequin Rose

Untitled

Karma usually comes
wearing a stranger's cloak
dangerously close to luck
but danger focuses the mind
and luck is the residue
of design
the devil will play house
and lay in wait
while you find happiness
as soon as its in sight
he'll run away with it
so if you love something
let it leave
if it comes back running
then you embrace
don't be like every other man
and turn your face
you have your chance
take it
and every promise that won't withstand
break it
change it
and listen to the sound of the world stopping
why change the world
if the world is not watching? ?
