Untimely Demise Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Untimely Demise

What is the way?
To stay
With honor and proud!
With assertion to speak loud

We know
How to grow
Even at somebody’s mercy
We seek blessings from an almighty

We see water bubbles
While making way with struggle
We know it is destined hour
So not early or minute later

Yes, we are puppet
Threatened with ill fate
Any time, the clock shall refuse to move
If not die, but we shall be denied refuge

So we are here
To live with fear
And bear
If life brings pain or tears
