Until You Look Through My Eyes Poem by Spiritwind Wood

Until You Look Through My Eyes

You are free to see what is inside me
what makes me that who I am
you can think you already know me
speak your mind and try to criticize

You can judge and hate on me
but until you look through my eyes
and see what I have come to see
then I just don't give a damn
exactly what you think of me

To you I have nothing to prove here
I know who I am and who to be
and it doesn't matter what you care

If you want to be of mine a friend
then together we will ride the wind
but if you're here to try and bring me down
you best just look the other way
and turn yourself around
because I care less what you have to say
