Until The Music Dies Poem by Amanda Larsen

Until The Music Dies

My soul dripping away...
Drop by dropp the dirty floor is filled
Life fading as the breaths get short
A happy thought
A dream
Fear and hope as one
Then panic
My bounding heart
A slow reaction
I save my life
A hero's strength to a coward act
And tears for what I nearly lost
My hungry breath is coming back
your voice, your smell, your eyes...
I'll take another day
I'll fight 'till my strength dries
I swim inside your lies
a dropp of hope within
until the music dies
I'll stay upstage and sing...
