Until The Morning Light Poem by Colin Coplin

Until The Morning Light

Rating: 4.5

Come to me in the darkness
Come to me in the darkness of the night
Let me stay inside of you
Let me stay with you ‘til the morning light

Wash away your mountains
Wash away your mountains of denial
Draw your curtains
Draw your curtains, greet the flooding warmth with a smile

So let me stay inside of you
Let me stay with you ‘til the morning light

And we can make our little room an everywhere
So much larger our little room than the world out there
Our love will warm its cold, our love will change its flow
Our love will pave its hemispheres in gold
My face in your eyes, yours in mine
Two loves mixed as one cannot die
So let me stay inside of you
Let me stay with you ‘til the morning light

Let me wrap myself around you
Feel the warmth from both of us rise
Let me caress and taste you
Let me caress and taste you, right through the night

And when the dawn arrives
We’ll share it you and I
So let me stay inside of you
Let me stay with you ‘til the morning light

Listen to your feelings
Listen to the wisdom of these lines
The dawn is the key
The dawn is the key to paradise

o let me stay inside of you
Let me stay with you ‘til the morning light

And we can make our little room an everywhere
So much larger our little room than the world out there
Our love will warm its cold, our love will change its flow
Our love will pave its hemispheres in gold
My face in your eyes, yours in mine
Two loves mixed as one cannot die
So let me stay inside of you
Let me stay with you ‘til the morning light
