Until I Have You Poem by Jack Abdallah

Until I Have You

Rating: 4.0

So soft, so weak, so hot, so cold
You make me melt and lose control
Now inside-out without a soul
Left am I, here alone

No sight of love, no sound so bold
Truth is I'll die til you I hold
So truth be told I cannot wait
Even though I'm quite afraid

Afraid of love, afraid of fate
Even destiny cannot relate
Afraid of hurt, afraid of pain
Your heart is all I have to gain

Filled with lust, fueled with passion
Your beauty is my own distraction
A kiss so soft my heart takes flight
Your lips may be my one delight

If I were blind I would still see
Nothing stands between you and me
Not a person, not a soul
For when I'm with you I lose control

I want your love, I want your heart
Not even GOD tears us apart
I'll take your hand, I'll hold it tight
I'll lead you safely through each night

You see our journey has just begun
I've told you plenty you're the only one
My life once empty now seems filling
I'll gladly kiss you when you're willing

As I come closer and you as well
Nothing is hotter not even Hell
Each night I dream and reminisce
The moments with you I haven't missed

Now I come slowly toward your heart
The heartless warn me, but still I dart
Ever closer even as time stills
I'll never stops even if it kills

You're worth it all, the pain and suffering
Until I have you, I've had nothing
