Until Dawn Poem by Aria Ellen

Until Dawn

Look out through the glass
To the icy blue night.
It approaches
A wave of crystal frost
With lace patterns
To swallow your town
And kill all of the insects
That feel nothing
As we see it.
When the dark ice
Surrounds us
And all is lost or gone
Will you look into my eyes? Will you smile for me?
And touch my hair
Cradle my face in your hands
Say you love me
And let me hold you
In the blue frost
Until dawn.

Morning ebbs and flows our way
Incoming tides sink into our
Frozen bodies
Not lonely in this desolate land
Matted hair, stiff with cold
Your fingers comb through
And warm us both
Tender soft kisses cover us
Until we burn with love.
