Unsure Poem by Sam Fischer

Unsure

Rating: 5.0

I thought I saw you this morning,
My heart nearly skipped a beat,
Despite the rain this feeling arose,
A passion still live, a heat,
It's ridiculous really that I still care,
Its been 4 months after all,
But like a plane with no air under the wings,
I've tried so hard, but stalled,

This goodbye meal that you all planned,
I don't know if I should go,
Seeing you, talking, that one last time,
Might make the healing slow,
Asking opinions of my friends,
Over what may actions should be,
No one agrees, in fact they all say,
Simply wait and see,

I'm fed up of being the person who cares,
Un-requited love,
Thinking about this mess of a man,
I need wings like a dove,
Wishing I could wipe you from my mind,
Start again anew,
Riduclous notions of a life much simpler,
Though wanted, will never be true
