Unsuccessfully Waiting Poem by Matthew Holloway

Unsuccessfully Waiting

Rating: 5.0

Unsuccessfully waiting
~
There is a phone call
Still waiting to be made
A letter left unwritten
On a desk beside a frame
Where a picture waits to be placed
The are feelings existing
Words wanting to be said
Look to find a way to be heard
The is a song waiting on a chorus
With each verse yet to be writ
The ideas are beginnings
Without a first step made
A silence remaining unbroken
No message ever sent
A thought non really know
But a few may suspect
The are some excuses
None stand as an explanation
Why two hearts still wait
On a phone call to be made
