Unstoppable Poem by Elizabeth Castleberry

Unstoppable

Rating: 5.0

Rain streaming down the window
The sky has a deep blue glow
The soothing beat gets slowly faster
The night becomes a blurr

The river streams down the mountain
The natural deadly fountain
Forcefully continues its life-giving path
Bubbling up wrath

Thoughts stream through my head
What if I'd only said
I meant more than he knew
Of what I feel for you

Words stream from my mouth
This conversation is going south
I've said more than I should
But there's so much more I could

Tears stream down my face
Faster and faster in a race
A relentless pull
They are unstoppable
