Unstated Role

I make my living
making safe enough
what others do making theirs.

If I make it too safe,
I'll be out of a job
or get less of the paper stuff.

...less safe,
and I'll get the sack
for not being good enough.

You can see why I say,
though it's not my stated role,
my job is in Safety Control.
