Unself-Consciousness Poem by Sadiqullah Khan

Unself-Consciousness

Rating: 3.2

Going too far
The thought in spirit
For the heightened experience
From the one hemisphere
To another
With faith
With indifference
And short of unconsciousness
Leaving behind the reason
And the guilt of being born
Unself-consciousness
Like the weird dress
On the big day
Like smashing the golden frame
To feel the texture of a Rembrandt
Like the one who treaded the moon
Like the one who aims at the stars
Like the great master of verse
Like Shams of Tabrez
Like the beloved Dara
Like Sarmad
Like Mansoor al Hallaj
Like Majnun

dear sadiqullah, my inquisitive memory has detected here some dominant thinker, you are one of them. The term 'Unself' seems you successfully used. In this poem its emitting the beauty as crystalline sharpness! wonderful! Long live! bekhudi zindabad! 1000000000+

A deep and inspirational write! Yes, the expressions of self are countless and not limited in any way by colour, creed, gender, geographical divisions or other things. I'm pleasantly surprised to find this kind of depthness in your poetry, keep it up!

The unself bombarded with similes in different categories...well implied composition.....the unself is composed of 1/4 of one's personality..........Thanks! ! ! 10+++
