Unseen Tears Poem by Miranda Dodge

Unseen Tears

When I look at this world
And the bad things happen
If I do not shed a tear
That does not mean
That I do not care
That I do not cry
They are tears that can not be seen
Those ones are known
As unseen tears

Unseen tears do not mean
That I should go invisible
Others who cry
And are seen with tears
Does not mean
They need the most help
Those unseen tears
Just mean that
I have to learn
To shed a tear

Everyday I look at this world
And everyday I see the bad things
Within life
With every bad thing
Comes an unseen tear

But when it comes to
The creator herself
It shows without tears
But either way
You almost always knew
That unseen tears were coming down
Onto my cheek
Very rarely have you seen
A real tear... Roll down my cheek
Because they are known
As unseen tears
