Unlucky Sailor Poem by Bala Sambo

Unlucky Sailor

Unlucky Sailor
Fair-weather was the acme of a sailor's desire
And so determined he set to capture an empire
Time and tide controlled the waves of the ocean
In the mid-point there came the fury of the ocean
Mindful of the time the sailor set for another voyage
And he suffered a shipwreck at the onset of the voyage.
